What Vitalog is
A private record book. You add laboratory reports you already hold and Vitalog keeps the values on one timeline so you can see how they move. It is a record-keeping tool.
What Vitalog is not
It is not a medical device and not a substitute for a qualified doctor. It does not interpret your results, does not tell you what they mean, does not recommend tests, diet or medicine, and does not produce any kind of score. Decisions about your health belong with you and your doctor.
Your account
One account belongs to one person aged 18 or over. Reports you add must be your own. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done through your account.
Accuracy of transcription
Values are read from your PDF by an automated transcriber and shown to you before anything is saved. Confirming them is your step and yours alone. Always treat the report your laboratory issued as the authoritative document.
Fair use
Each account has a monthly allowance for report readings, a file size limit and a page limit. These keep the service affordable for everyone. The current numbers are shown on the upload screen.
Ending your use
You may delete every trace of your data at any time from your profile page; it happens immediately and cannot be undone. We may suspend an account that is used to upload another person's records or to abuse the service, and will tell you why.
Availability
Vitalog is offered as it is, with regular backups and monitoring, but without a guarantee of uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced on the status page.
